A healthy baby is most like a happy baby. We all want happy babies. The following is a list of 8 super foods that are ideal for your child because they’re delicious, full of essential nutrients, easy to prepare and for the most part they can be very reasonably priced and can be found at just about any grocery store. There are many Great foods that are available to you, but these are just a short list of 8 that we think you child will both benefit from as well as enjoy eating.

4. Prunes can help with constipation. “Prunes” or “dried plums,” these wonderful fruits are soft, sweet, and full of fiber. If your baby suffers from constipation, while switching to solid foods, add some pureed prunes to your baby’s diet to help with digestion.
5. Yogurt helps form strong healthy bones and teeth and is rich in calcium and vitamin D, necessary for healthy bones and teeth. Your baby can start to enjoy yogurt as early as 4 to 6 months, long before they’ll be ready for regular cow’s milk.
6. Sweet potatoes can be a great source of beta-carotene and vitamin C. Sweet potatoes are often considered as one of the most popular “first foods” for babies. Babies tend to enjoy their sweetness and texture. These colorful vegetables are packed with beta-carotene, vitamin C, and minerals like iron and copper.
7. Lentils, Beans or Legumes are a great source of fiber and provide lots of essential protein.
8. Carrots are a great source of fiber and vitamin C, they also contain lutein, which babies use for the development of healthy eyes.
